Legends of the Astral System

CHAPTER 8. Krog’s army of Razors arrives at Decca

As Krog’s army of Razors arrived at Decca they were met with absolutely no resistance. The Primaries at Decca were so spent and exhausted that as the Razors arrived, they thought that perhaps the Razors had come to rescue them. The Primadorians were no match for Krog’s Razor armies, the Razors were so quick and ruthless in their attack that the Primaries of Primadora didn’t even get a chance to stand up from their seats. Most Primadorians died begging for their lives. The destruction of Primadora at Decca was quick and precise. As Krog received news of the victory, he set about preparing for the final stand against the primaries of Smetha at Dortha.

Krog’s reconnaissance missions of Dortha had revealed to him the thriving and prosperous society of the Dorthans. He was thinking about leaving the Dorthans be, there was no need for any more death and destruction. He could return to MP-Z with his Razors and Dragons with the whole Astral system under his direct control. Keeping constant surveillance over the Dorthans in case they try something against the best interests of the Astral system. Krog could return to MP-Z with his Dragons and Razors and start rebuilding MP-Z, start rebuilding his home. But the dragons advised him against it, insisting that he immediately attack and eradicate any remaining primaries. His instincts told Krog to trust and follow the advice of the dragons.

Krog set about preparing his assault on Dortha. He wanted the dragons to join him in the fight against the primaries of Smetha at Dortha, but the dragons couldn’t as they were too old and weak to be of any real help to him. The Dragons were sent back to MP-Z. MP-Z, although battered, just two-thirds the size of its former self, was healing. The planet seemed to be repairing it’s wound, slowly sucking the floating debris in and healing itself. The dragons, upon arrival to MP-Z were heart broken. They were greeted to ruins of their once grand empire. Even though their time as slaves had been unbearably, excruciatingly hard, the pain of seeing their home in such a condition was particularly heart wrenching.

Krog had led the assault against Prima from the front owing to his anxiousness to rescue and meet the last remaining dragons. He felt no such necessity now and dispatched his Razor army to make quick work of Dortha. As the Razor army approached on Dortha, the Dorthans put up a united front and showed strong resistance. The clever tactics and cunning of the primaries and the sheer resilience of the Mudders, combined, put up a good fight. But their battalions kept falling and their ranks slowly decreasing. The primaries of Smetha were terrified and alarmed. The council had fallen and the Primary-supreme had gone into hiding.

What remained of the council, along with the most influential primaries and mudders all rushed to the primary-supreme begging him to reach a truce with the Razor army. The Dorthans were begging the Razor armies for a truce but the Razors seemed to be expressionless killing machines. The Razors had now started sparing the Mudders entirely and just hunting off the primaries. Seeing as how the Razors were just killing the primaries, the mudders were about to quit when they were reeled back into the fight by the primaries. The Dorthans had been begging the Razors to stop and reach a truce, just outside the walls of the capital city of the Dorthans, the Razor army stopped, almost as if robots someone had just remotely switched off.

Krog flew in, in all his majestic dragon glory. An absolutely massive black dragon landing smack bad in the middle of the Razors, immediately taking his metahuman form after landing. The Razors stepping away and clearing the path ahead of Krog. He wanted to take down the leaders of the Smetha faction himself. He was expecting little to no resistance and rightly so. As Krog marched into the capital, right into the council hall, no one stepped in his way. Krog stood right in front of the Primary-supreme, ready to end it in a snap, when he heard the sweetest voice, he had ever heard. “Stop”. This was the most mesmerizing sound that had ever landed on Krogs ears. He turned around, only for his eyes to land upon the most beautiful creature he had ever seen. Such splendor Krog had never seen before, he had been a warrior, a fighter, a conqueror, such delicacy had remained a stranger to him. The Primary-supreme could sense the softness in Krog’s eyes and immediately offered Krog Shine, in exchange for his own life.

Shine was the secret Smetha had been so careful to keep hidden, letting no faction find out about her existence. She was the daughter of the Primary-supreme and a Mudder princess. A Primary-Mudder hybrid. The primaries, though strikingly beautiful, could not be considered beautiful by human standards. They were bright shiny creatures, radiating and emitting blinding light. Shine, being a Primary-Mudder hybrid was a particularly exquisite creature. Shine would be best understood as the most beautiful human woman, 13 feet tall, glowing skin, shiny black hair and a long slender body. She was absolutely gorgeous. The Dorthans had kept her hidden, even from the other Dorthans. She had been kept for the most part of her life inside the Grand council boundary. This royal upbringing had brought a sweetness and innocence to her attitude. She seemed to be a very caring and compassionate being.

Krog in all his life had never seen a creature such as Shire before, he was absolutely smitten by her. The conqueror of worlds felt utterly helpless against his heart. Krog, the emperor of the whole Astral system felt his heart at the mercy of a creature as delicate as Shine. Krog let go of the Primary-Supreme, Shine rushed towards her father, helping him up. The Primary-Supreme, being a Primary after all was quick to offer Krog shine’s hand in marriage in exchange for the life of the remaining Primaries. Krog was in no mood to be making deals with anyone, neither was he obliged to do so. He could much easily just kill all the Primaries and take Shine with him. It was upon the insistence of Shine herself that Krog reluctantly spared the remaining primaries. Krog had found a new purpose in life, his queen, his Shine. Shine was like nothing he had seen before. Just being with her made him feel like time had come to a standstill.

Krog had started spending all his time with Shine, almost as if Shine had him under a spell. The might Emperor King following her around like a puppy. The Razor armies still maintained strict control over Dortha and Krog’s rule reigned supreme over the Entire Astral system. Krog had found a new purpose in life, MP-Z, Prima, the Astral system all took the back seat after Krog met Shine. Shine was a creature beyond his wildest imaginations and being with Shine gave Krog a sense of belonging he had felt neither with the Razors nor with the dragons. This was all new for the mighty King. The feelings he was experiencing had been as of yet alien to him. Something about Shine drew Krog closer and closer towards her.

The coming days and nights Krog spent each and every waking moment with Shine by his side or him by hers. Exploring Dortha, rehabilitating and resettling the battle weary Mudders and the miserably few remaining primaries. Krog realized that before Shine, his life had been meaningless and empty. Shine had given meaning to his life. The dragons, upon hearing the news of Krog and Shine, were vehemently against such a union and advised the mighty King against any such endeavor. Krog had expected such a reaction from the dragons and as such had tried to delay the news from spreading, but now the dragons knew.

The dragons warned Krog of the cunning and mischievous ways of the primaries and that under no circumstances could they ever be trusted. But Krog was willing to give Shine the benefit of the doubt even if she hadn’t possessed half Mudder blood and were a full-blooded Primary. As Krog started spending more and more time with Shine, he started noticing the little things in life, the things he had always taken for granted. He was learning to be compassionate and forgiving, unbeknownst to him, he was starting to love and trust Shine. Krog had never actually cared for anyone like he cared for Shine, nor had he had any attachment with anyone such as the one he had with Shine. The inhabitants of Dortha were getting used to Krog soaring over them with Shine in his arms, travelling and exploring the far corners of Dortha. Krog now had a new vision. He had someone to share his throne and all his power with. Krog had found in Shine, a connection that he was missing before.
